Dried Bean Chili

Dried Bean Chili (use dried beans cause it is cheaper)

1 cup of each: (about 8 oz dry)

drk red kidney
lt red Kidney
pinto
black bean

sort dry beans, mix togther in a big pot, cover with water, bring to boil for 2 minutes.
Allow beans to soak for 1 hour. Drain water



1 1/2 pounds ground beef
Brown ground beef, drain

Combine all ingredients in to bit pot.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Simmer on low for 4-5 hours.


3 stalks celery, diced
1 large onions, diced
2 large pepper (red, green, or yellow) Diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 (12 ounce) can fire roasted tomato

1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1/4 cup chili powder
Dash of oregeno
1 teaspoon tumeric
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon white pepper


Add Mushrooms, or other diced veggies to suit your personal taste.
